+Can I change plans anytime?
Yes — switch in your dashboard under Billing. Changes apply immediately, the gateway picks up the new RPS limit within seconds.
+What counts as one API call?
Every successful or failed request that reaches the gateway. Internal Try-It calls (one per visitor session, no key) do not count toward your monthly quota.
+What happens when I hit the monthly cap?
New requests get a 429 with X-RateLimit-Reset until the next billing month. Upgrade or wait — no overage charges.
+How does per-second rate limiting work?
A sliding-window counter in Redis. Burst above the limit gets 429 + Retry-After: 1. The limit is per team, not per key, so multiple keys share the budget.

+Can I bring my own upstream auth?
Yes. Configure bearer tokens, custom auth headers, or per-route overrides — the gateway injects them server-side. The customer never sees them.
